82"H x 12"D Real Wood Bookcase

It took over a year to get my bookshelf but it was great price and great quality. Good things comes to those that wait.

I had ordered one of these book cases previously and really liked it so i ordered two more on 4/12/22. I received them in July of 2023. The plant was, unfortunately, caught up in the Covid plagued labor situation plus they were experiencing supply problems from their wood supplier. Having said all this, Jerry Cunningham (at Woodland Mills) was VERY responsive in keeping me updated on my order when I would send an inquiry. I would definitely buy from Woodland Mills again!

Con: This product took nearly a year to arrive - so long I thought Woodland Mills must be an elaborate scam. One star off. Pros: Great product, beautiful wood, all hardware included, very carefully prepared, all the holes match up and it's hard to make a mistake provided you actually read ALL the directions, not just the parts with pictures!

We've ordered 3 of these bookcases now, and are very pleased with them. They are well constructed and the pine wood is beautiful. The 82" height draws your eye upward and makes the room seem taller, as well as maximizing vertical storage of our many books. We will probably buy more of these!

It took a long time to complete, partly because of the shipping delays. And it was a lot of work on my end to do all the staining and assembly. You have to be at least a little handy to do it. But now that my bookshelf wall is complete, it looks great! I have 4 of the 82"H X 12"D bookcases, 2 of the 82"H X 9.25"D ones, and 2 of the 30"H X 9.25" ones. I'm happy with the quality of the wood and construction. And the price was reasonable as well. Thanks!

Fantastic looking bookcase. Great addition to my home office as well. Easy to follow instructions for assembling and definitely a custom look.

Lower rating is for 6 month wait for order. Bookcases are of high quality and can be assembled relatively easily. The instructions could be clearer - probably a victim of a number of revisions -start from scratch and revise. However, they do accurately point to the molding assembly as the most difficult - it is unnecessarily so. This needs to be rethought - ditch the moulding fastener blocks for sure - they restrict shelf placement. The side moldings themselves make inserting the shelves difficult. Quality of the wood is high - very paint-able - I used Kills Premium and a Sherwin Williams cabinet paint - one coat each. Summary - long wait - quality product.

I am very pleased with our bookcase so much so, I ordered 2 more. The wait was 2 months but we checked other places that made real wood bookcases and their wait was as long, if not longer, than Woodlands. It was packaged very well and arrived with no damage. The assembly instructions are not the best with some of the detail not very clear, at least not to me. I figured it out and assembled the book shelf in about an hour and a half. Now that I know better how it assembles, I am looking forward to getting my other 2 so I can complete our bookcase wall!
